FSA (Flexible spending accounts)
Did you know you can apply your Flexible Spending Account towards orthodontic treatment? Currently you can set up to $2,500 of your pretax dollars per year aside through your FSA and use those funds to help cover the cost of orthodontic treatment. If your orthodontic treatment spans more than one calendar year you could possibly use FSA money from multiple years to pay for orthodontics.
Insurance
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
